Ford invest in University research centerThe Premier Automotive Group, Ford Motor Company's premium vehicle group, manufacturing Jaguar and Land Rover, have invested heavily in The University of Warwick's new International Automotive Research Centre.

Bob Dover, Chairman and Chief Executive of Jaguar & Land Rover, applauded the initiative saying that "it offers a valuable opportunity for forward thinking manufacturers to draw on the stream of first rate engineering talent coming out of Warwick".

The Research Centre, to be based at the Warwick Manufacturing Group, is a £70 million project, co funded by Ford and Advantage West Midlands and designed to help manufacturing companies in the UK's premium automotive sector improve product development through skills training and research and development.
